ITHACA, N.Y. -- Senior Chris Costello led a group of six players who earned All-Ivy football honors when the teams were announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office. Costello was a first-team selection at linebacker, while classmate Bryan Walters was a second-team pick as both a wide receiver and as a return specialist. Senior offensive linemen Quentin Bernhard and Andrew Bohl, junior punter Drew Alston and sophomore defensive back Rashad Campbell captured honorable mention accolades. The teams are voted on by the head coaches of the eight Ivy League teams.

ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell senior libero Megan Mushovic capped her incredible volleyball career with her fourth straight All-Ivy selection, as was announced this morning by the conference office. Mushovic was named to the second-team for the second time in her career after back-to-back first-team selections in 2007 and 2008.

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men’s basketball team will have another opportunity to rock the college basketball world when it visits No. 10/9 Syracuse on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Carrier Dome. Barry Leonard will provide the call on 93.5 WVBR-FM, which can be heard live on the internet as part of the RedCast subscription service. The game is also being broadcast on ESPN360.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men’s hockey team closes out the home portion of the fall semester on Tuesday when it battles travel partner Colgate in a 7 p.m. contest at Lynah Rink. The Big Red will be seeking to get back into the win column after suffering a 3-2 loss to Quinnipiac on Saturday in Ithaca. Tuesday’s game can be heard on the radio on WHCU 870 AM in the Ithaca area with Jason Weinstein providing the call. Additionally, live video of the game will be available through the Cornell Redcast subscription service.

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Big Red women's basketball team returns from a weekend trip to the Windy City to take on IUPUI this evening at Newman Arena at 7 p.m. Cornell split a pair of games at DePaul’s Maggie Dixon Classic, falling to the host Blue Demons before defeating Tennessee State in the consolation game to improve to 2-2 on the season. The Jaguars are winless on the season (0-3) after falling to Northern Illinois, 71-55, on Nov. 19.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Cornell junior Nate Edelman finished 93rd at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday, held in Terre Haute, Ind. Edelman finished the 10K course in 30:51.2 as the second Ivy League runner to finish the course.
