Women's Soccer Set To Open 2010 Season

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Optimism surrounding the women's soccer program at Cornell University is at its highest point in recent memory. A veteran team, yet still a youthful squad that features just two seniors, the Big Red will be looking to fulfill the promise showed as incoming recruits and put together a winning season on the field.

Soccer Teams Add To Coaching Staffs

ITHACA, N.Y. -- As both teams opened practice for the 2010-11 season, the Cornell men's and women's soccer programs have added a wealth of experience to both teams' coaching staffs. Keith Comfort will join both programs as an assistant coach, while T.J. Love will join the men's coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Women's Soccer Announces 2010 Season Schedule

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Six home games and two contests against teams that advanced to the 2009 NCAA College Cup highlight the 2010 Cornell women's soccer schedule, announced on Monday by head coach Danielle LaRoche. The Big Red will also play three contests in Hamilton, N.Y., including two games at the Colgate Raider Invitational in early September.

Cornell To Induct 12 Into Athletic Hall of Fame

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Twelve new members, including five All-Americans and an Olympic medalist, have been selected for induction into the Cornell University Athletic Hall of Fame at the 33rd annual ceremonies to be held October 15, on the Cornell campus. After this year's class is inducted, the membership in the Hall will stand at 522.

Nine Newcomers To Help Bolster Attack For Cornell Women’s Soccer Team

ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell women’s soccer coach Danielle LaRoche has announced the nine-member class of 2014 that will enroll at Cornell in the fall of 2010 and play for the Big Red. The group includes six midfielders, two forwards and one goalkeeper, helping to strengthen the squad for the upcoming campaign.
