Cornell Big Red

Weather Once Again Alters Baseball Schedule

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Expected rains in central New York on Tuesday afternoon have again forced the movement of the Cornell baseball team's scheduled doubleheader against Harvard.

Cornell and Harvard, originally scheduled to play a twinbill on March 29, had that doubleheader moved to March 31 because of a late-week snow storm. Today's games were then scratched due to the rains that have moved into the area, and that same rainstorm which will bring warmer weather into central New York on Tuesday will stick around, making it unlikely the two teams could play both contests. With that, the doubleheader is now tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, meaning the Big Red's contest with LeMoyne will likely be postponed until later in the season.
