ITHACA, N.Y. – Final results from the Cornell Invitational are now available. The event ran from Friday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Reis Tennis Center in Ithaca, N.Y.

INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
* Andy Gauthier won the A Singles, defeating teammate Jeremy Feldman in the finals, 6-2, 7-5. Gauthier beat Flip Rams (Temple), 6-4, 6-4, Arnav Jain (Binghamton), 7-6 (4), 6-3, and Gilbert Wong (Binghamton), 6-3, 6-7, 10-6, on the way to the finals. Feldman beat Don Henry (FDU), 6-2, 6-1, Loic Sessagesinni (Marist), 7-6 (5), 6-0, and Kiril Kolomyts, 6-3, 6-4, before falling to Gauthier.
* In the B Singles, both Ashish Bhandari and Mirza Klis advanced to the semifinals, with Klis falling to the eventual champion, Alex Haggai (Binghamton), 6-4, 3-6, 6-10.
* Richard Offutt advanced to the semifinals in the C Singles, while Peter Nawara was knocked out in the first round. In his final match vs. Evan Algier (Binghamton), Offutt withdrew due to injury with the score knotted at 4-4.
* In the D Singles, Jared Karson fell in the opening round.
* Charles Quay advanced to the semifinals in the E Singles, falling to the eventual champion, Gustavo Villares (Duquesne), 6-4, 6-4.
* In the A Doubles, a pair of Big Red teams advanced to the championship game, which was not played due to time constraints. Andy Gauthier and Jeremy Feldman enjoyed a bye in the first round before defeating Brunsting/Howe (Case Western) 8-3, Kolomyts/Tibil (Buffalo), 8-0 and Bornkessel/Devos (Binghamton), 8-6. Meanwhile, Jonathan Fife and Evan Bernstein also had a bye in the first round and then went on to beat Custers/Kalinin (Buffalo), 9-8 (3), Haggai/Jain (Binghamton), 8-5, and Albonoz/Lucero (Army).
* The doubles team of Charles Quay and Mirza Klis also advanced to the championship game of the B Singles, where they fell to King/Vizhunov (Temple), 9-7. The Big Red pair had a bye in the first round before defeating Bessinger/Sassagesinni (Marist), 8-4, New/Richmond (Navy), 8-4 and Danielsson/Wong (Binghamton), 8-6. Cornell’s doubles team of Ashish Bhandari and Richard Offutt fell in the second round.
