ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell senior libero Megan Mushovic capped her incredible volleyball career with her fourth straight All-Ivy selection, as was announced this morning by the conference office.
Mushovic was named to the second-team for the second time in her career after back-to-back first-team selections in 2007 and 2008. A native of Coronado, Calif., Mushovic set the Ivy League record with 2,040 career digs. She finished the season ranked fifth in the conference with 4.86 digs per set and first in conference games only with 5.63. Mushovic reached double-digit digs in 21-of-25 matches, including a high of 35 at Dartmouth on Oct. 30. She also led the team in digs in all but four matches during the season. Her 428 digs on the season rank sixth all-time in Cornell history for single-season digs, giving her four of the top six spots on the list.
The Big Red wrapped up its season with a 6-19 record overall and a mark of 3-11 in the Ivy League, good for sixth place in the conference standings.
