WALTHAM, Mass. - The Cornell women's fencing team had an outstanding showing at the Brandeis Invitational this afternoon in Waltham, Mass. The Big Red defeated the host Judges, 17-10, as well as Boston College, 14-13, MIT, 18-9 and North Carolina, 15-12. Cornell's only loss on the day came to natonal powerhouse St. John's, who squeeked past the Big Red, 14-13.
The epee squad went undefeated on the day, defeating all five teams, while the foil and sabre squads both posted 3-2 records.
