ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell football team received 14 votes in the latest Sports Network's FCS College Football Poll after knocking off Yale 14-12 this past weekend in New Haven, Conn. The Big Red are one of three Ivy League teams picking up votes in the poll, released today.
The Big Red is 2-0 with victories over Bucknell and Yale, and will face its biggest challenge of the season thus far when it visits No. 25 Colgate (4-0), the defending Patriot League champion, on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m.
Both Harvard (66 votes) and Princeton (2 votes) are also receiving votes in the latest poll.
