ITHACA, N.Y. -- On this week's episode of Sidelines, Cornell men's hockey coach Mike Schafer and women's hockey coach Doug Derraugh lead a behind-the-scenes tour of Lynah Rink. Fans can get a peak at some of the features of the rink that are behind closed doors.

The rink underwent an extensive renovation in the summer of 2006, adding new locker room space, a new training room, and an expansion of the seating area. The newly expanded seating area holds 4,267 members of the raucous Lynah Faithful without diminishing from the mystique of the legendary arena.

“Sidelines,” is a weekly show on CornellCast that features interviews with coaches and athletes from the university's Big Red teams. David Keating hosts the program.
