PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Cornell baseball team will have to wait at least another day to open the 2010 season, as Friday's baseball season opener at Villanova has been postponed due to rain in Philadelphia, Pa. Cornell softball will also have to wait a day before beginning the Mason Cherry Blossom Classic, as its game with Niagara was also cancelled.
The baseball team will attempt to play its season opener on either Saturday or Sunday. Cornell is slated to take on St. Joseph's on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Campbell's Field in Camden, N.J.
