Blake Gallagher and
Ben Scrivens were each named to the All-Ivy League first team in voting conducted by the league's coaches, the league office announced today. The trio was joined by fellow senior
Brendon Nash on the second team and junior
Riley Nash on the honorable mention list.
Scrivens was one of only two unanimous selections on the first team, joined by Yale defenseman Tom Dignard. Greening and Gallagher, meanwhile, finished first and second atop the league scoring list.
Scrivens led the Ivy League with a 2.43 goals-against average and finished second with a .921 save percentage. He was also second in the league with a .600 winning percentage, going 6-4 in Ivy League games on the season.
Greening was the league's top scorer, posting seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 10 league games. His seven goals tied him for fifth in the league, while the 10 assists were tied for second among Ivy League players. Three of his seven goals came on the power play, tying him for fourth in the league, while his two game-winning goals were tied for second.
Gallagher finished tied for second in the league scoring race, recording 10 goals and five assists for 15 points. His 10 goals tied him atop the league with Yale's Broc Little, while his five power-play goals were the most among all league players.
On the second team,
Brendon Nash finished tied for second in scoring among all defensemen, ranking in a tie for 20th overall in the league with one goal and eight assists for nine points. His eight assists ranked tied for fifth in the league, while he added six points on the power play, good for a tie for fourth place.
Earning honorable mention honors was
Riley Nash, who, despite missing one game in league play, still finished tied for fifth in scoring with two goals and 11 assists for 13 points. Nash's 11 assists were the most among all league players, while his six points on the power play tied him with Gallagher, Greening and
Brendon Nash for fourth in the league.
Yale's Sean Backman earned the league's Player of the Year honors, while Harvard's Louis Leblanc was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
