Platt Farlow has served as an assistant coach with the Big Red since the fall of 2002 during a period of unprecedented success for the program.

"Julie Platt is a highly respected softball coach and leader," Blood said. "Her knowledge and skills in the teaching of hitting are exemplary and her energy is contagious. With four years as a player and eight more as an assistant coach, Julie's loyalty to Cornell is noteworthy. We are most excited to have her lead the Big Red softball program into the next decade."
