ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's soccer team began year two under head coach
Jaro Zawislan with the team's first official practice on Friday afternoon at the McGovern Field complex.
The Big Red welcomed back 24 players from last season's squad that went 6-6-5 overall and 1-3-3 in the Ivy League, while also adding in 15 new faces to preseason camp. The Big Red opens the 2010 season on Sat., Sept. 4, when it travels to Long Island for a 7 p.m. contest.
