ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's soccer team has made a switch of teams on the 2010 season schedule, now playing St. Joseph's University instead of facing Buffalo on Sept. 16 at Berman Field.

The change came about because of a conflict in schedules with the original opponent, Buffalo, which is slated to play at a tournament in New Mexico on Sept. 17 and 19. Cornell and Buffalo could not find a common open date that would work for both teams, so the Buffalo game was scratched.

Rather than drop one match from the schedule, the Big Red was fortunate to find a school in St. Joseph's that needed a game to fill out its schedule, and the original Sept. 16 date happened to work for the Hawks. Cornell and St. Joseph's will now meet at 7 p.m. on the 16th at Berman Field.
