ITHACA, N.Y. -- A pair of Cornell senior captain were honored for their efforts in helping Cornell to a 31-7 victory over Wagner this past weekend. Defensive end Zack Imhoff earned Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week accolades, while Brad Greenway captured Special Teams Player of the Week.

Imhoff was a dominant force for the Big Red , posting 3.5 sacks, two forced fumble and a blocked punt in the win. His 3.5 sacks were a sack shy of the single-game school record, while his two forced fumbles tied the school mark. He was part of a defensive effort that accounted for four turnovers and four other drives that ended with fourth-down stops. Imhoff was directly responsible for causing a fumble that led to the Big Red's first touchdown and another that ended a Seahwak possession in the red zone. His blocked punt was recovered by the Big Red on Wagner's five-yard line (see that blocked punt below). The converted All-Ivy linebacker was in on four of the team's eight sacks, a mark that ranks second all-time in a single game at Cornell. He personally ended five of Wagner's 15 drives during the game with a sack, forced fumble or blocked punt. Imhoff ended the day with six tackles. He was converted to defensive end this past spring after being named honorable mention All-Ivy at linebacker in 2010.

Greenway continued his drive to become the school's all-time leading kicker with a perfect afternoon against the Seahawks. He made all four of his extra-points and his only field goal, a 20-yard chip shot. As a punter, he averaged 36.6 yards, including a booming 58-yard punt, and averaged 63.5 yards on kickoffs despite spending most of the day kicking into a driving wind. He had one touchback. Greenway remains perfect for the season, making all nine extra points and going 3-for-3 on field goals.

Cornell returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 when it plays host to Harvard at Schoellkopf Field.
