ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell football program and Kent Austin, the Roger J. Weiss '61 Head Coach of Cornell Football, has announced the launch of www.InsideCornellFootball.com today. The web site, developed with the assistance of Bluechip Athletic Solutions, is a one-stop destination for all things involving the Big Red football program.
From its storied history that has made Cornell one of the most successful college football programs to today's players and coaches bringing that success back, InsideCornellFootball.com is an innovative and interactive site developed for family, friends, fans and alumni. You can learn more about all the elements that make Cornell football a special family - from the quality of the coaching staff to the beauty of Cornell's campus and everything in between.
In addition to offering 360 degree panoramic views of the campus and Ithaca, InsideCornellFootball.com features dozens of videos, profiles and links about Big Red football wrapped in video game-like design and navigation.
With spring football underway, The Big Red football team is pointing toward the 2011 season just five short months away. Under second-year head coach Kent Austin, Cornell is primed for big improvement with arguably the youngest roster in the Ancient Eight.
The Big Red will return 42 letter winners from last season's 2-8 squad, among the most returning letter winners in the Ancient Eight. Included are All-Ivy selections Rashad Campbell (CB) and reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year Jeff Mathews (QB).
The Annual Spring Football Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at 3 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field.
