ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's hockey team's exhibition against ECAC Hockey rival St. Lawrence, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, has been cancelled.

The Big Red's first taste of hockey since early December will instead come on Friday afternoon at Union College in Schenectady at 3 p.m. Cornell finishes its two-game ECAC Hockey road trip against Rensselaer on Saturuday at 3 p.m. before returning home to host Colgate on Jan. 10.

Cornell has six players competing in the Meco Cup in Fussen, Germany, with the Canadian National Team's Under-22 squad. Their tournament starts Tuesday morning against host Germany. In two exhibitions against Slovakia last week, senior Catherine White scored three goals and an assist, senior Chelsea Karpenko added another goal and senior goalie Amanda Mazzotta had a shutout. Forwards Jillian Saulnier and Jessica Campbell had two assists each.
