ITHACA, N.Y. – Freshman Lauren Frazier won the B Singles title, and classmate Rosemary Li took home the C Singles crown, and the doubles team of junior Christine Ordway and freshman Courtney Malinchak topped the B Doubles field at the Cornell Winter Invitational for women's tennis on Sunday.

The Big Red won three of the five titles at the three-day event, which had no team scores and featured competitors from Cornell, Army, Binghamton, Colgate and Columbia.

The B and C Singles championship matches pitted Big Red competitors against each other. Frazier was the fourth seed the B bracket, defeating third-seeded classmate Gabby Sullivan, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5. Li also defeated a fellow Cornell freshman, Kirsten Kohagen, 3-6, 7-6(5), (10-7) to win the C bracket. Ordway and Malinchak, who were seeded second in the B Doubles field, defeated the top-seeded tandem of Columbia's Katerina Kovacevic and Crystal Leung in Sunday's champion, 8-6.

The Big Red also had representatives in the other two championships held Sunday. In A Doubles, Columbia's top-seeded team of Bianca Sanon and Tiana Takenaga won by illness default over Cornell's Nina Turudic and Ryann Young. Ordway also reached the A Singles final as the fourth seed, but fell to the second-seeded Sanon in the title match, 6-2, 6-4.

Cornell kicks off the team portion of its schedule next week with a pair of home matches. Maryland-Baltimore County visits Reis Tennis Center at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, followed by a match with Temple at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5.
