2012-13 Roster
ITHACA, N.Y. – Fresh off a third straight Frozen Four appearance, the Cornell women's ice hockey team will be welcoming eight newcomers to Ithaca for the 2012-13 season.
Four forwards, three defensemen and a goalie will look to get the Big Red off to another Frozen Four, its fourth consecutive ECAC Hockey regular season title and its third straight Ivy League championship. Hailing from Canada and the United States, this group of eight is an accomplished freshman class with international experience on their resumes.
“We feel like we've strengthened all areas of our team,” head coach
Doug Derraugh said. “We've got strong forwards and defensemen coming in, players that will make an immediate impact on our team.
“We feel like we've got not just skill players, but a class with a lot of character. It's one of the strongest classes we've seen here at Cornell.”

A graduate of The Edge School in Calgary, Murray is an aggressive player and strong skater with a powerful shot. As the captain of Team Alberta, her squad claimed the 2011 Canada Games championship. A defenseman with plenty of potential, Murray has all the tools to help Cornell succeed during her time in Ithaca.
Morgan Richardson | Ottawa, Ontario | #21

GOALTENDER
