ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell track and field teams and one individual have been nominated for three Niagara Track & Field Annual Awards for their terrific performance during the 2011-12  season.

Cornell rising senior Genna Hartung was nominated for the Doraine Lambelet Award, given to the outstanding female Division I track athlete in or from the Niagara Association.

The Big Red men's indoor team and the women's outdoor team will be competing against each other for the Charles H. Moore Jr. Award. This award is given to the outstanding cross country, indoor or outdoor track team of the year in or from the Niagara Association.

Fans can vote online for Hartung and the Big Red teams to help them win. Voting closes on August 17, and the awards will be handed out on Sept. 8 in Buffalo.
