Men's Basketball To Have Four Nationally Televised Games In 2013-14

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell will have four nationally televised contests during the 2013-14 campaign, beginning with its season opener next Friday at Syracuse. Included are two games as part of the league's agreement with NBC Sports Network. Additional games may be picked up during the season.

The League's package with NBCSN is highlighted by seven intra-conference matchups to along with three games pitting League teams against foes from the Atlantic-10 Conference. NBCSN is slated to present more than 60 college basketball games during the 2013-14 season, including over 40 regular-season matchups from the Ivy League, A-10 and Colonial Athletic Association, three holiday tournaments featuring Big East, Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conference schools and coverage of two conference tournaments. Ivy League men's basketball teams are scheduled to take part in 35 live broadcasts across 13 different networks for the upcoming season.

The Big Red will open its tv appearances with a game on the ACC Regional Sports Network against the Orange on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. The Big Red's game against Notre Dame on Sunday, Dec. 1 will be on ESPN3, while its game at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. will be on NBC Sports Network. The final televised game of the season comes when Brown visits the Big Red on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. live from Newman Arena in Ithaca.
