We sincerely regret canceling Friday's game vs. UMass. We are grateful for the effort of the Cornell and out of town ACR trades persons and facilities specialists who worked through the day on two compressors that had malfunctioned around 4:30 a.m. One was successfully brought back on line, but it failed again. It was able to be restarted during pre-game warm ups, but not in time to adequately provide suitable ice.
Thank you for your patience as you awaited news of the game status. We hoped and expected the game could be played, and are sorry to disappoint the teams and our fans. Cornell hockey fans are the most loyal and supportive in the country, and we're sure you understand the final decision was made with the safety of our student-athletes as the number one priority.
The game cannot be rescheduled. Ticket refunds will be issued as outlined below.
Refunds to season ticket holders will be processed according to the payment method used when buying season tickets. If purchased online, or with a credit card, refunds will be issued at the end of the 2013-14 season automatically, along with refunds for any ECACH playoff games that aren't played. Cornell students will receive a credit to their Bursar account.
If purchased by check or cash, the season ticket holder must bring the ticket(s) to the Athletic Ticket office for a cash refund beginning Monday, Jan. 20. The refund deadline for cash and check purchases is May 1.
Refunds for fans who purchased single game tickets require the fans to bring tickets to the Athletic Ticket office for a refund. Refunds are issued via the same payment type used to purchase tickets. Only the original ticket purchaser or season ticket holder should bring tickets for a refund. Tickets purchased from a secondary source are non-refundable. Tickets received from promotional sources may be exchanged for tickets to select games. The refund deadline for ALL single game tickets is May 1.

The Cornell Athletic Ticket Office is located in Bartels Hall on Campus Rd. The sales windows are open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.
