ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell Department of Athletics and Physical Education has a busy weekend on tap, with several major events taking place on Saturday, March 15. Fans that are coming to campus are encouraged to use the information below to plan for the day's events.
Men's Lacrosse | Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. | Schoellkopf Field
The Cornell men's lacrosse team opens the 59th season of Ivy League play when it welcomes No. 17 Yale to Schoellkopf Field at 1 p.m. After upsetting No. 2 Virginia with a convincing 12-9 win on March 8, the Big Red has moved up to eighth place in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, and is one of just three undefeated teams remaining in NCAA Division I men's lacrosse. The game can be seen online through Ivy League Digital Network and fans in the Ithaca area can hear the game on WHCU 870 AM with Barry Leonard and Tom LaFalce on the call.
IMPORTANT SPECTATOR INFORMATION –
• The West stands will not be open for the Yale game and fans will be directed to the Crescent stands. Additionally, the rest rooms at Schollkopf Field will not be open for the contest. Fans are asked to utilize the rest rooms in Teagle Hall or Bartels Hall.
• Parking in Hoy Garage will be free, while tailgating will be permitted on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Crescent Lot ONLY. Please be advised that charcoal grills, motorhomes, buses and pets are prohibited.
• All player and coaches complimentary tickets will be distributed in Friends Hall.
• Alcohol, bags, coolers and pets are prohibited in the stadium.

Women's Ice Hockey | Saturday, March 15 at 3 p.m. | Lynah Rink
The Big Red women's ice hockey team, coming off its second consecutive ECAC Hockey Championship, will play host to Mercyhurst College at Lynah Rink at 3 p.m., with a berth to the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four on the line. The game will be a rematch of last season's first round contest when the Lakers stunned the Big Red in overtime at Lynah Rink. A live webcast of the game will be available for free on the Ivy League Digital Network.

After enjoying a bye week through the first round of the ECAC Hockey Championships, the men's hockey team starts its postseason journey this weekend with a best-of-three quarterfinal series against Clarkson at Lynah Rink. A live webcast of the games will be available online through America One Sports, which owns the exclusive webcasting rights of the ECAC Hockey Championships. Play-by-play from Jason Weinstein and color commentary from Tony Eisenhut will be available for all of the games for free on the Ivy League Digital Network and can also be heard in the Ithaca area on WHCU-AM (870). If necessary, Game 3 would be played on Sunday, March 16 at 7 p.m.
