Joakim Ryan have been named to the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team, and junior forward
Brian Ferlin was placed on the All-ECAC Hockey Third Team, as announced by the league Thursday in advance of its championship weekend.
Iles has rewritten the record books in his time at Cornell, now standing as the program's all-time leader in career saves with 2,962. He was also named to the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team as a sophomore in 2012, and was named as the lone goalie on the league's All-Rookie Team in 2011. He is also a two-time All-Ivy League First Team Selection in 2012 and 2014, and he was also named the Ivy League Player of the Year this season. He played in all 22 league games this season, posting a 11-7-4 record to go with a 2.17 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.
One of the top offensive defensemen in the country, Ryan has earned his first All-ECAC Hockey honor after a season in which he had four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 22 league games. He was tied for sixth in the league in points per game for defensemen (0.68). He is a two-time All-Ivy League selection in 2013 and 2014, and was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award this season.
Ferlin was named to the All-ECAC Hockey Third Team for the first time in his career, having been named the circuit's rookie of the year in 2012. He was tied for the league lead in game-winning goals with four, as part of his nine goals and seven assists for 16 points in 22 league games. He was also named the Ivy League's Rookie of the Year in 2012 and has two All-Ivy selections in his career.
