ITHACA, N.Y. — Members and friends of the men's hockey program embarked on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic through the Portal de Belén Foundation. It was the third time the program has participated, following trips in 2009 and 2012 to construct of a multi-purpose building used for adult and child instruction, community gatherings, church services, and hurricane refuge.

Among those on the trip were head coach Mike Schafer, Rodger Craig '14, senior John McCarron, juniors Christian Hilbrich, John Knisley Teemu Tiitinen and John Knisley, and sophomore Gavin Stoick. A pictorial recap of the trip can be found here.
