10/9/2014 5:24:00 PM

ITHACA, N.Y. — Men's Hockey discount season tickets are on sale now for new Cornell student ticket holders and for the general public. General Admission ticket prices for new students are $199 for the 17 regular-season home game package, or $235 for the 20-home game package that includes three playoff games. The $235 package price represents a discount of $70 off the individual game price for students. The public ticket package cost is $360, a $45 discount off the price for general public individual game sales. The current sale for students is for general admission seats in Section E. Section D has already sold out! Current general admission tickets for the public are available in Section F. General admission tickets should be purchased online at CornellBigRedTickets.com. Once purchased, general admission tickets can be picked up at the Athletic Ticket Office in Bartels Hall. All ticket sales are final.

Reserved ticket information for the public is available by calling the Cornell Athletic Ticket Office at 607 (255-4247) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

First-time student buyers (freshmen and students who have not purchased season tickets in the past) may purchase general admission tickets in Student Section E now at CornellBigRedTickets.com, or wait to see if reserved seats are available. New students and students who have not purchased tickets in the past also have the option to purchase any remaining reserved seat tickets at approximately 8 p.m., following the seat selection for returning ticket holders on Thursday, Oct. 23.

For returning Cornell student season ticket holders, graduate and professional students, the prioritized selection process rewarding loyal returning season ticket holders used in past years will continue. The process begins on Monday, Oct. 20 when students can start the process for purchasing in sections A, B and D. The prioritized seat selection process will take place on Thursday, Oct. 23. Purchasing tickets as early as possible, within the group in which one is eligible, will entitle a student to an earlier pick of seats during seat selection. The sale and determination of seat selection order will be conducted online at CornellBigRedTickets.com.

Students may purchase either one or two season tickets apiece. Only students purchasing their own tickets will be considered as a ticketholder during future sales. If you want to be included in the one-, two-, or three-year ticket holder groups in the future, you must purchase tickets in your name.

Details of prioritized ticket sale/seat selection process are as follows:

By doing so, they will not risk being late when their line number is called for seat selection. Students must show Cornell ID at this time. The line number is determined by when the tickets were purchased — not when you arrive to the seat selection event.

All other students should pick up their line number form 15-20 minutes prior to their seat selection time. The selection order as follows (times are approximate):
