No. 17 Men’s Lacrosse Game Vs. Hobart To Be Played In Florida

ITHACA, N.Y. – The 137th meeting between the No. 17 Cornell and Hobart men's lacrosse teams has been relocated to West Palm Beach, Fla., as part of the inaugural Lacrosse News Network Florida Lacrosse Classic on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1:15 p.m. Hosting the event will be Oxbridge Academy and it will feature a lacrosse triple-header, as two high school games will bookend the Cornell-Hobart tilt.

First played in 1896, Cornell holds the 85-47-4 advantage in the all-time series with Coach Matt Kerwick's alma mater, and has won 14 of the last 15 meetings. The event marks the first time in the history of the series that the game will be played outside of New York State, but is the fourth neutral site contest since the 2010 season, with the Big Red posting a record of 3-0 in the previous meetings.

The Big Red roster features a pair of Florida natives – Grant Mahler of St. Andrew's and Anthony Texeira of The Bolles School

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
