ITHACA, N.Y. – Forward Josh Warren will join the Cornell men's basketball team for the upcoming 2016-17 season it was announced today by
Brian Earl, the Robert J. Gallagher '44 Head Coach of Men's Basketball. Warren will add frontcourt help to a roster that returns its top 10 scorers from a year ago.

Robert Hatter, the first- and third-leading scorers in the Ancient Eight, the conference's leading field goal percentage shooter in senior

• Warren was a three-time all-league selection at Downingtown West HS, including a first-team pick as a senior.
• He was selected to play for the U.S. All-Stars in the Capital Classic game and in the Valor Bowl senior all-star game in his final season after averaging 15.0 points per contest.
• A league player of the year as a junior according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, he averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.
• He helped that team to a spot in the state playoffs and its first league title since 2008.
• He was a second-team all-league pick as a sophomore and ended his career as a 1,000-point scorer.
