1. What's your favorite thing about wrestling?
       I love competing at the highest level, wrestling the best wrestling in the country and world.

2. What's the worst?
       Cutting weight.

3. Why did you pick Cornell?
       Cornell is the combination of phenomenal academic opportunities and a great wrestling program with great coaches.

4. Where'd you go to high school?
       Hilton High School

5. What do you miss the most about home?
       My friends and family.

6. What's one thing you're excited about going into your freshman season?
       Competing for a national title with other guys around me who are trying to accomplish the same goal.

Max Pickett

1. What's your favorite thing about wrestling?
       My favorite thing about wrestling is the two aspects of competing both as a team and as yourself. It all comes down to me vs. my opponent on the mat, but my team watches and supports you through it all. The sense of camaraderie is something very special.

2. What's the worst?
      The worst thing about wrestling is having to make weight.

3. Why did you pick Cornell?
       I picked Cornell because it was the greatest combination of both academics and athletics. It provides me the perfect environment to flourish and fulfill my full potential as a student, athlete, and person.

4. Where'd you go to high school?
       I went through high school at Blair Academy (NJ).

5. What do you miss the most about home?
       What I miss most about Virginia is the warmer weather and southern hospitality.

6. What's one thing you're excited about going into your freshman season?
       I'm excited to learn and improve myself in order to get closer to embodying the greatest possible version of myself.
