Biography

CAREER (2013-17)
• The 6-1 guard from Houston, Texas graduated as one of the greatest scorers in Cornell history, ranking 10th all-time with 1,241 points.
• A four-year starter, he also ranks among the school's all-time leaders in field goals (13th, 432) and 3-point field goals (12th, 143).
• Hatter is one of just seven Cornell players to score 1,200 points, grab 250 rebounds, dish out 200 assists and collect 90 steals in their career.
• He led the Big Red in assists as a junior and steals as a senior.
 
As a senior (2016-17)
• Averaged 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 28 games (24 starts).
• Averaged 20.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in games at Princeton and Penn.
• Had his second career double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and four assists at Siena after opening the year with 13 points and four boards at Binghamton.
• Scored 15 points, dished off eight assists and ripped down four rebounds in a win over Northeastern.
• Had a season-high 20 points, including becoming the program’s 26th 1,000-point scorer, at nationally ranked USC.
• Averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games in Las Vegas against Troy and Southeast Missouri State, including a career-high 11 rebounds against SEMO.
• Posted a season-high 28 points, including the game-tying layup at the regulation buzzer, in an OT loss to UMass Lowell.

As a junior (2015-16)
• Averaged 17.1 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 41 percent from the floor, 33 percent from 3-point range and 71 percent from the free-throw line in 24 contests with 20 starts.
• Had seven games with at least 20 points on the season, including three 30-point efforts and ranked third in the conference in scoring and sixth in both assists and steals.
• Scored a career-best 33 points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in just 27 minutes of action in the double overtime win at Colgate.
• Had 15 points and a career-high 11 assists in the win over Binghamton for his first collegiate double-double.
• Ivy League Player of the Week on Dec.7 after averaging 30.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals in wins over Siena and Lafayette.
• Had 32 points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals in the win over Siena, including 28 points after halftime.
• Scored 29 points with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and a blocked shot in the win over Lafayette.
• Also notched 31 points with four rebounds and four assists at Penn.
Credited with 27 points against both Monmouth and Howard.
• Missed four games due to injury.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Posted averages of 11.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals while playing 26.5 minutes in 28 games (27 starts).
• Ranked 10th in the Ivy League in scoring, third in free-throw percentage and ninth in steals.
• Shot .833 from the free-throw line after connecting just 46 percent of his shots from the charity stripe as a freshman.
• Notched a season-high 23 points at home against Dartmouth.
• Scored 16 points in the loss to Penn and had 19 points in the win over Dartmouth.
• Had 17 points, three rebounds, three steals and a block while holding Maodo Lo, the Ivy League’s leading scorer, scoreless in the Ivy opener against Columbia.
• Scored 21 points in road wins at George Mason (also, five rebounds) and at Siena (also, 12-of-13 free throws).
• Notched 20 points in the win over Howard on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor.
• Scored 18 points with four rebounds in the win over UMass Lowell, connecting on 5-of-10 from beyond the arc.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• A two-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week selection, Hatter averaged 9.0 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his first 20 collegiate game before missing the rest of the season with illness.
• Hatter impressed with a Cornell freshman record 32 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists in an overtime loss to Loyola (MD).
• He averaged 16.4 points, 3.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds in five games while hitting 14-of-31 3-pointers (45 percent) before being injured early in the Saint Peter’s game.
• Hatter scored 21 points with four rebounds, two assists and a block against Saint Francis (Pa.) and scored 15 points with six assists and three rebounds at Notre Dame.
• Hatter notched 22 points with four rebounds and three assists at Mid-American champion Western Michigan, connecting on 6-of-11 3-pointers and scored 18 points with six assists against Radford.
• He opened his career with nine points, two rebounds and two assists at nationally-ranked Syracuse.

At Westside HS
• Hatter was a second-team all-state selection as a senior at Westside HS and was a three-time first-team all-district and two-time all-region pick.
• He earned all-Greater Houston accolades by VPE Magazine and was ranked as the No. 3 point guard in the area.
• Hatter was named the district most valuable player as a junior after averaging 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.
• He was first-team all-league, all-district and all-region as a senior captain and earned team MVP accolades in each of his final three seasons.
• Hatter shot 50 percent from the floor, 88 percent from the free-throw line and 39 percent from beyond the 3-point arc in his final season.
