Gomez's up-to-date results
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Scored at the Outdoor Heps as part of the third-place 4x400 relay team (3:11.03).
• Also finished 11th in the 400 hurdles with a personal-record time of 54.52 seconds.
• Tallied seven top-three finishes on the year.
• Set PR in the 500 (1:06.86) at the Kane Invitational to take second.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed in five indoor meets for Cornell as a freshman, grabbing two top 10 finishes.
• At the Upstate Challenge, finished eighth in the 500 (1:09.58) and at the Greg Page Relays, was a member of the seventh place 4x400 relay squad (3:30.14).
Before Cornell
• Gomez was a section nine second-team all-star in 2015 and 2016 and a New York state champion in 2016.
• Gomez, who also swam for two years, was a member of the National Honor Society while in high school.
Personal
• Jacinto Gomez is the son of Oscar and Lisa Gomez.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
