As a Senior (2019-20)
• Competed in eight meets, with six top-five placements.
• Recorded two first-place finishes in shot put at the Marc Deneault Invitational (2/22) and the Sunday Invite (2/16).
As a Junior (2018-19)
• Recorded seven top-five placements.
• Finished seventh at the Ivy League Outdoor Heps (5/4-5) in both the shot put and the discus throw.
• Notched a personal record for shot put and discus throw at the Bison Outdoor Classic (4/14) and the Titan Team Challenge (3/30), respectively.
• Placed ninth in the shot put at the Ivy League Indoor Heps (2/23-24).
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Competed at Outdoor Heps, taking 10th in the discus with a personal best (141-4) and 12th in the shot put (47-4 1/2).
• Won the shot put at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open (45-4 1/2).
• Set indoor shot put personal record (46-4) at the Deneault Memorial Invitational for sixth place.
• Notched PR in the outdoor shot put at the Sam Howell Invitational (48-6 1/4), finishing 12th.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed in one meet as a freshman, finishing sixth overall in the shot put at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open (42’.5”).
Before Cornell
• Lutkewitte captained his team to the NJSIAA Outdoor Non-Public A Team championship in 2016 and the NJSIAA Indoor Non-Public A team championship in 2015 and 2016.
• He was the NJCTC Freshman shot put champion in both indoor and outdoor track in 2013 and won the same indoor title in 2014. • Lutkewitte also qualified for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in the discus and shotput in 2015 and 2016.
• He is also an Eagle Scout.
Personal
• Robert William Lutkewitte is the son of Bob and Louise Lutkewitte.
• He has two sisters, Emily and Caroline, and is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
