In his final year playing for the Big Red, Lannon was the heart of the team's midfield and its captain. Lannon led the way all year for Cornell, always leaping for headers on long punts and passing his way to a team-high seven assists. Those assists tied  him for sixth all time in a single season. He finished the year with one goal against Hofstra and nine points overall, good for second-most on the team. Lannon started in and played in all 16 games, never once coming out of a contest. He finished his Cornell career sixth in school history in games started (58), tied for sixth in assists (13) and tied for eighth in games played (62).
