Biography

At Cornell
2013-14: Peña did not compete in 2013-14.

2012-13: Peña did not compete for Cornell. 

2011-12: Peña  recorded 11 wins in his rookie season that saw him place third at the Mat Town Open at 133 pounds. He also wrestled at the Body Bar Invitational, Southern Scuffle and National Collegiate Open. Peña  competed for Cornell in five duals last season. 

Prior to Cornell
Peña won two California state championships at 130 pounds. One of only 22 four-time placewinners in California history, he was sixth at 125 pounds as a freshman and third at the same weight as a sophomore after winning six straight in the wrestlebacks. The Intermat Top 100 recruit also captured fourth at the Ironman tournament in both 2009 and 2010 and stood on the podium twice at the Super 32 event, earning sixth in 2008 and fifth in 2009. Peña ’s career record was 172-23.   He was honored as one of Selma High’s top students.

Personal
Nikkolas Adam Peña is the son of Gerald and Angela Peña and has two brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
