As a Junior (2012)
Haber had a national coming out party in 2012, announcing his name to the country as one of the most feared strikers in the sport. Haber had an amazing 18 goals during the regular season and finished the year on top of the country in points per game and goals per game. He also added seven assists to his totals, proving he can help out as well as he can finish. Haber was named the Ivy League Player of the Year -- the first time a Cornell player has ever earned that honor -- and also earned a spot on the All-Ivy First Team. He was Ivy League Player of the Week a league-record five times during the season. Haber was also named a semifinalst for the MAC-Hermann Trophy, the highest individual honor in college soccer.
As a Sophomore (2011)
In 2011, Haber came through on the promise of his freshman season when he led the team in shots. As a sophomore, Haber scored a team-high nine goals (including three game-winners) in nine separate games. He led the team in points, shots, shots on goal, corner kicks and penalty kicks converted all while coming off the bench. Haber won Ivy League Player of the Week twice during the year, claiming the award after a one-goal, two-assist week in late September and again after a two-goal week in mid October. At the end of the regular season, Haber was also the Ivy League's scoring champion.
As a Freshman (2010)
Haber saw extensive time as a freshman, and provided an offensive spark to the club in his first season. He opened up his career by scoring a goal and adding an assist in just his second collegiate game, the Big Red's 3-2 comeback win against Hartwick on Sept. 6, and later added an assist in the 1-1 draw with Syracuse on Sept. 22. Haber appeared in all 17 games, earning the start in 14 of those contests including each of the first nine.
Before Cornell
Haber represented Canada at the Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2009. He played club soccer with Spartacus and won three straight Ontario championships from 2008 through 2010.
Personal
Daniel Bram Haber is the son of Lorie Haber and Reena Berlind and has two older brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
