2011-12
Stala compiled a 17-13 record in his third season with the Big Red. He placed third at the Mat Town Open at 197 pounds and took fourth at the New York State Intercollegiate Tournament. He also wrestled for Cornell at the Binghamton Open, Body Bar Invitational, Las Vegas Invitational, Southern Scuffle and Edinboro Open. 

2010-11
Stala was 3-6 while wrestling at the Binghamton Open, Body Bar and Mat Town Open.  At Binghamton, Stala defeated Rider’s Evan Craig and Brown’s Tyler Cowman. He also topped Jon Max Wright of Drexel at the Body Bar Invitational.

2009-10
Stala was 6-4 at heavyweight during the 2010 campaign. He won three straight matches at the Binghamton Open and three more at the Body Bar Invitational.

Prior to Cornell
A four-time letter winner, Stala was a two-time New Jersey state place winner. He was a four-time district place winner and won the district title his senior season. Stala placed at the regional tournament twice, and at counties four times. In 2008, he took second at the Beast of the East tournament. Captain his senior year, Stala finished his career with over 100 wins. He was the 2006 MAWA eastern national champion. Stala was a two-time letter winner in football playing defensive and offensive tackle. He was a member of the Math Honor Society.

Personal
Lukasz Stala is the son of Leszek and Marta Stala and has a sister and a brother. Majoring in international agriculture and rural development, Stala is a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
