Biography
As a junior (2014-15)
• Played in 11 contests off the bench for a total of 45 minutes, recording 16 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
• Hit 3-of-5 3-pointers on the season(60 percent) and 5-of-7 from the floor (71 percent) overall.
• Scored a career-high nine points with a steal in the win over Alfred State, hitting all three field goals and a pair of 3-pointers.
• Had an assist at Syracuse and hit a 3-pointer at Harvard.
• Played 11 minutes at Princeton, scoring two points and grabbing two rebounds.
• Saw three minutes of action against South Carolina and one minute in the win over UMass Lowell.
As a sophomore (2013-14)
• Mischler posted career highs in nearly every statistical category, scoring 11 points with four rebounds and two assists in 62 total minutes spanning 19 games off the bench.
• He hit 4-of-10 field goals and 3-of-9 from 3-point range on the season.
• Mischler connected on his only shot, a 3-pointer, at Notre Dame in front of dozens of friends and family.
• He scored six points and had a rebound in seven minutes at defending NCAA champion Louisville, including hitting his first two collegiate 3-pointers.
• Mischler scored two points at Harvard and picked up a rebound and a steal at nationally-ranked Syracuse.
As a freshman (2012-13)
• Mischler played in seven contests for a total of nine minutes.
• He has two assists and a blocked shot during the season.
• Mischler earned his first varsity action with two minutes against Stony Brook, recording one assist.
• He also had a blocked shot in one minute of action against Old Westbury.
At Marian HS
• Mischler was an all-state selection as a senior at Marian HS after earning all-league accolades in his final two seasons.
• An academic all-state first team as a senior, he earned a spot in the Michiana McDonald’s All-Star team after averaging 13.8 points as a senior.
• Mischler was named as one of Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s top 100 seniors.
• He averaged 12.9 points per game while shooting 41 percent from beyond the 3-point arc as a junior and was one of 48 juniors selected to play in the Indiana Class Basketball All-Star Classic.
• He was a four-year varsity player and two-time captain who scored 987 career points and was a better than 40 percent shooter from 3-point range.
• He was also a three-year letter winner on the gridiron at quarterback who earned honorable mention all-state as a senior.
• A second-team all-conference pick and a first-team academic all-state selection, he served as team captain in his final season.
Personal
• Robert David Mischler is the son of David and Karen Mischler and has two older sisters and a younger brother.
• Mischler comes from an athletic family, as his mother played volleyball at Notre Dame, while his cousins played Division I baseball and volleyball.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
