Biography

In 2013-14 (junior)
Giddens was averaging 3.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in just 14.5 minutes per game in 13 contests, including five starts, before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He had 10 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in 19 minutes against Radford and made all five field goals for 10 points and three rebounds at Colgate. Giddens cored five points with four rebounds at Louisville and scored eight points to vs. Binghamton.

In 2012-13 (sophomore)
Giddens emerged late in the season and averaged 2.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in the team's final four contests while averaging 12.8 minutes per contest. He scored four points, grabbed five rebounds and notched three blocks against Brown and had three points, a career-best nine boards and three blocks against Yale. In the season's final weekend, Giddens had six rebounds and three blocks in just 12 total minutes. For the season, Giddens averaged 0.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 10 contests off the bench.

In 2011-12 (freshman)
Giddens played in 18 contests, averaging 0.8 points and 0.7 rebounds during his first season. He was credited with 14 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots in 96 total minutes as a rookie. Eight of his 13 rebounds have come on the offensive end. Giddens was 2-of-2 from the floor for four points at Delaware and notched two points and board boards against Albright. He played 10 minutes at Penn State and 11 minutes at Bucknell.

At Willow Canyon HS
A McDonald’s High School All-America nominee as a senior at Willow Canyon HS, Giddens was a first-team all-region and all-league pick. Giddens averaged 11.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.2 blocked shots per contest during his senior season. He was an honorable mention all-region pick as a junior after posting 8.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per contest. While living in Germany during his junior year, Giddens was named team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year and was first-team all-region and second-team All-Europe.
