Biography
As a sophomore (2015-16)
Did not see varsity action as a sophomore.
As a freshman (2014-15)
• Made the Ivy League Championship meet in the 100 and 200 breast and the 200 IM.
• Scored in both breaststroke events, including finishing 14th overall and making the B finals in the 100.
• Finished on the podium in seven dual meet races during the season, including placing second in the 100 breast against Colgate.
• Finished third on the team’s season charts in both breaststroke events.
Prior to Cornell
• Winter was a two-time district champion in the 100 breast and 200 IM at South Eugene HS.
• She placed sixth in the state in the 100 breast as a senior after serving as team captain during the season.
• She also placed 10th at YMCA nationals in the 200 breast while competing for Team Eugene Aquatics.
Personal
• Ingrid Pascale Winter is the daughter of Jeffrey and Lynn Winter and has an older sister, two younger brothers and two younger sisters.
• Her sister, Eva, is a member of the swimming team at Swarthmore.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
