Cornell University utilizes Internet Consulting Services (ICS) SIDEARM Live Stats system for football, sprint football, men's and women's soccer and field hockey (weather permitting), volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, softball and men's and women's lacrosse. Live Stats is the next generation in live stat presentation, powered solely by Flash and XML. Using official stats generated through the Stat Crew system by Cornell's Athletic Communications Office, the interface automatically pulls in "fresh" statistical data in the background with each receipt of an updated XML file directly from the scoring computer. As a result, Live Stats never needs to refresh/reload. The system also integrated with head shots of the active student-athletes.
