1907
E.J. O'Connell becomes the first head coach in Cornell history, leading his squad to back-to-back .500 seasons and a third-place finish at the 1907 EIWA meet.

1908
Walter O'Connell starts a historic 39-year stretch as head coach. Posting a career winning percentage of .627, including 24 top three finishes at EIWA's, he directed the team to 11 titles. Indivudually, O'Connell produced 63 individual winners at the EIWA championships. O'Connell won the unofficial national championship three times (1910, 1912, 1923). (The NCAA tourney began in 1928)

1919-1920
Charles "Ed" Ackerly won the 1919 Eastern Championship at 115 pounds. This victory propelled him to an appearance in the 1920 Olympic Games in Beligium. Ackerly was the only American to bring home a gold medal, defeating all other contestants at his weight class.

1928
Glenn Stafford becomes Cornell's first individual national champion, winning the 175-pound title.

1947
Jimmy Miller becomes head coach of Cornell Wrestling, charged with following the countless successful years under Walter O'Connell. Miller amassed 203 dual meet wins in his 27 year head coaching career. This still stands as the most wins by a coach in Cornell History. Millers career was highlighted by a third-place finish in the NCAA tournament and 11 Ivy League titles. In 1967, he was named head coach of the U.S. Pan-American team.

1953
Two Cornellians won national titles in their respective weight classes. Frank Bettucci claimed the crown at 147 pounds. His performance at the 1953 NCAA tournaments earned Bettucci All-American Status, and propelled him to a win in the 1956 Olympic final tryouts. Following suit, Donald Dickason won at 167 pounds, garnering him All-America Status as the third NCAA champion in Cornell history.

1959-60
Dave Auble won back-to-back national championships at 123 pounds. Auble continued his success on the international stage as he placed fourth at the Olympic games in 1964 in Tokyo. He still holds the highest winning percentage in Cornell history (51-1,.981).

1961
Steve Friedman becomes the AAU national champion at 160 pounds and later captured the gold medal at the Maccabiah Games.

1964
Carmon Molino competes in the U.S. Olympic trials and was runner-up. This earned him alternate status at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Molino later returned to Cornell as an assistant coach from 1967-1972, and again from 1974-1992.

1974
Andy Noel becomes the fourth head coach in Cornell History. Noel enjoyed four Ivy League titles in the 14 years he served as the head coach.

1988
Jack Spates begins a short, but successful, stretch as the head coach of Cornell. Spates enjoyed and Ivy League title all five years he was the head coach. He achieved and unprecedented .837 winning percentage, posting a career mark of 74-14-1, including a 21 win season in 1991-92.

1993
Rob Koll takes over the Cornell wrestling program, leading the Big Red to unprecedented success.

1994
David Hirsch won the 126-pound title, capping his senior year with a record-setting 41 wins his senior season. Hirsch was a three-time first-team All-Ivy pick.

2001-05
Arguably the most dominant wrestler in Cornell history, Travis Lee won national championships at two separate weight classes. His first came as a sophomore in 2003 at 125 pounds before capping off his career with a national crown at 133 pounds in 2005. Lee became Cornell's first four-time All-American and won the EIWA crown four times. Lee finished his career with a program-high 143 wins.

2005
The Big Red team won its third straight Ivy League title with a 5-0 mark, Cornell's 26th league title in the program's history. The Big Red placed second at the EIWA Championships with 131 points, just behind Lehigh's first-place point total of 133.5. Senior Travis Lee breezed to the 133-pound championship, claiming his fourth EIWA title. Lee, who became just the third four-time EIWA champion in Ivy League history, was named the tournament's most outstanding wrestler for the second consecutive season. Also winning individual titles at the EIWAs for the Big Red were seniors Joe Mazzurco at 174 and Tyler Baier at 184. Cornell sent nine wrestlers – seven automatic bids and two wild cards ? to the NCAA tournament, where Cornell placed fourth for its highest national finish since 1953. Lee won his second national title, becoming just the second two-time national champion in Big Red history, and earning All-America honors for the fourth consecutive year. Also earning All-America honors at the 2005 NCAA championships were Baier, who placed second at 184; Mazzurco, fifth at 174; and junior Dustin Manotti, sixth at 149, giving the team four All-Americans for the first time in school history. Head coach Rob Koll was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division I Coach of the Year.

2006
The wrestling team won its fourth straight Ivy League title with a perfect 5-0 mark, Cornell's 27th league title in the program's history. The Big Red finished fifth at the NCAA tournament, the second consecutive top-five finish for Cornell. The squad also finished second at the EIWA championship for the second consecutive year. Freshman Troy Nickerson became the first male athlete to win the Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Year awards in the same season in any sport en route to finishing as the national runner-up at 133 pounds. Dustin Manotti, Joe Mazzurco and Jerry Rinaldi also captured All-America honors at the meet, marking just the second time in school history the Big Red celebrated four All-Americans.

2007
Wrestling placed 12th in the NCAA's and crowned four All-Americans winning their fifth consecutive Ivy League championship. Sophomore Troy Nickerson placed third at the NCAA championships at 125 pounds. The Big Red won its first EIWA championship since 1993, advancing eight wrestlers to the NCAA tournament.

2008
The wrestling team crowned an individual NCAA champion (Jordan Leen at 149 pounds) en route to yet another Ivy title (its sixth consecutive) and a ninth-place finish at NCAAs. The Big Red won its second straight EIWA championship with Mack Lewnes capturing an individual title.

2009
The Big Red finished fifth at the NCAA tournament highlighted by Troy Nickerson's national title at 125 pounds and capped off a fantastic dual season with a 12-2 record. With a 5-0 mark, Cornell won its seventh-straight Ivy League title.

2010
Cornell wrestling finished second at the NCAA tournament, a school-best finish. The Big Red crowned four All-Americans, including national champion Kyle Dake at 141 pounds, and will return seven NCAA qualifiers next season. With a 5-0 mark, Cornell won its eighth-straight Ivy League title and won its fourth-straight EIWA team title.

2011
The Big Red repeated its 2010 success, finishing second at the NCAA tournament, claiming its ninth straight Ivy title and winning EIWA's for the fifth consecutive season. Kyle Dake moved up a weight class to 149 pounds and won his second straight NCAA title, becoming one of five All-Americans. In addition, Cam Simaz finished third and 197 pounds, Mack Lewnes (174) and Steve Bosak (184) each finished fourth, while Mike Grey was sixth at 133 pounds. Cornell was 13-1 overall in dual matches, including a perfect 5-0 against Ivy schools.

2012
The Big Red had three wrestlers earn individual national titles in the season season for the first time in program history, as Kyle Dake (157), Steve Bosak (184) and Cam Simaz (197) all earned NCAA crowns as the team finished fourth overall. In addition, Frank Perelli placed fourth at 125 and Mike Nevinger was seventh at 141 to round out the Big Red's five All-Americans. Cornell was 11-1 in dual matches and again went 5-0 in Ivy competition while winning its sixth consecutive EIWA title.

2013
Kyle Dake became the face of collegiate wrestling by becoming the first to win national titles at four different weight classes and the first to win four titles without a redshirt season. The Hodge Award winner as collegiate wrestler of the year, Dake was named the EIWA and Ivy League Wrestler of the Year and went unbeaten at 165 pounds, including knocking off the reigning champion at the weight class and 2012 Hodge Award winner David Taylor of Penn State. The Big Red again won the EIWA title (seventh straight year) and the Ivy title (11th consecutive season). Senior Steve Bosak (third at 184 pounds), freshman Nahshon Garrett (third at 125 pounds) and junior Mike Nevinger (fifth at 141 pounds) also earned All-America status.

2014
Cornell finished seventh at the 2014 NCAA championships, its seventh straight top 10 finish.Three Big Red student-athletes earned All-America honors, with sophomore Nahshon Garrett finishing second at 125 pounds and freshmen Gabe Dean (third at 184 pounds) and Brian Realbuto (sixth at 157 pounds) also placing. Cornell won its eighth straight EIWA team title with four wrestlers claiming individual titles, while the Big Red captured its 12th straight Ivy League title with a perfect 5-0 slate, extending its streak of consecutive conference dual meet wins to 63. Garrett was named the EIWA and Ivy League Wrestler of the Year and Dean was named Rookie of the Year by both the EIWA and the Ancient Eight. All 10 starters in the lineup captured All-Ivy League honors, with seven capturing unanimous first-team accolades. Dean was named the EIWA and USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week and was featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces In The Crowd section after pulling the upset over two-time defending national champion Ed Ruth of Penn State in the finals of the Southern Scuffle.

2015
Sophomore Gabe Dean won a national title at 184 pounds, leading four All-Americans as the Big Red finished fifth at the NCAA Championships. Classmate Brian Realbuto was the runner-up at 157, while junior Nahshon Garrett was fifth at 125 and senior Chris Villalonga was sixth at 149. The Big Red went 17-2 in dual meets, won its record 13th-straight Ivy League crown and ninth consecutive EIWA championship, posted a third straight New York State Intercollegiate tournament win, as well as earning a third-place finish at the 2015 NWCA National Duals, top six finishes at both the Las Vegas Invitational and Southern Scuffle and unblemished dual records at the Grapple at the Garden and the Journeymen Northeast Duals. The program's 17 dual meet wins were the most by a Big Red team in 22 years and the third-most ever. Cornell qualified nine for the NCAA championships and crowned five individual EIWA champions.

2016
Junior Gabe Dean repeated as national champion at 184 pounds and senior Nahshon Garrett earned his first national title at 133 pounds. Dylan Palacio took fourth at 157 pounds as Cornell placed three All-Americans en route to a seventh place finish at the NCAA Championships. The Big Red went 6-5 in dual meets, won its record 14th-straight Ivy League title and 10th consecutive EIWA championship. Earned fourth consecutive New York State Intercollegiate tournament win.

2017
Placed eighth at the NCAA Championships with six qualifiers and four All-Americans. Gabe Dean was second at 184 pounds, Brian Realbuto was fifth at 174 pounds, Dylan Palacio sixth at 157 pounds and Brandon Womack eighth at 165 pounds. Cornell finished 13-2 overall and was 5-0 in the Ivy League to win a 15th-straight league title. The Big Red won an 11th consecutive EIWA championship and its fifth New York State Intercollegiate tournament in a row.

2018
True freshman Yianni Diakomihalis was the national champion at 141 pounds following a year in which he went 37-1 and was named the EIWA and Ivy League Wrestler of the year. Cornell had four All-Americans overall as Diakomihalis was joined by Jon Jay Chavez who took seventh at 165 pounds, Max Dean who was eighth at 184 pounds and Ben Darmstadt placing sixth at 197 pounds. The Big Red finished the season 13-2 in duals and won a 16th consecutive Ivy League title. Cornell finished in second at the EIWA tournament and won a sixth straight New York State Intercollegiate tournament.

2019
Yianni Diakomihalis won his second national championship at 141 pounds following an undefeated season (29-0). Max Dean was the national runner-up at 184 pounds and was joined as an All-American by Ben Honis at 197 pounds and Vitali Arujau at 125 pounds. Overall, Cornell finished seventh at the NCAA Championships with 59.5 points. The Big Red finished with a 13-3 record in dual meets and won a 17th-straight Ivy League title. Cornell had three champions at the EIWA tournament en route to a second place finish prior to the NCAA Championships.
