Parking in most areas of the Cornell campus is restricted to parking permit holders only, from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Visitor lots are metered by the hour. Some parking locations are restricted at all times, so be sure to read and adhere to all parking signs/restrictions when entering a lot. Fans should stop at a Transportation Information booth when arriving on the Cornell campus, for any athletic event being held Monday-Friday before 5pm. The booth nearest the athletic facilities is on Hoy Road, near the parking garage. Fans can procure a parking permit there and/or receive information on the best place to park for specific athletic events.
Parking for athletic events is coordinated by the athletics department. Parking for many events is free, but athletics may charge a fee for parking in lots closest to its venue on weekends and evenings. Regular Cornell parking permit holders ARE required to pay additional fees when parking is charged for athletic events. Tailgating permits ARE sold in advance
