Ryan O’Neil joined the big red staff as an event management and operations assistant in 2022. In 2023, Ryan was promoted to Event Management & Operations Coordinator. Ryan has various athletic operations experience on the Division I and Division III level. At Cornell he is the primary event manager for varsity and sprint football, men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. Ryan also assists in the scheduling of Newman Arena, Schoellkopf Field, and the Ramin Room.

Prior to joining the Big Red, Ryan served as an athletic operations intern at SUNY Cortland. Ryan also has worked for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies Triple-A Affiliate), as a ticket sales associate.

O’Neil earned a Master of Science in Athletic Administration at SUNY Brockport. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management at SUNY Cortland.
