As a sophomore (2019)

• Did not appear in any games due to injury.
 

As a freshman (2018)

• Made four relief appearances with an 0-1 record and 11.57 ERA over 2.1 innings.
• Made Ivy League debut with a strikeout in 0.2 innings April 7 vs. Yale.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Won two New York state championships with Fort Ann HS in 2013 and 2017, and sectional championships in 2013, 2015 and 2017.
• Named first-team all-start in 2015.
• Also played soccer and basketball at Fort Ann, helping the soccer team win six sectional titles and the state championship in 2015.
• Member of the National Honor Society.
• Class valedictorian.
 

Personal

• Garrett Alan Bailey is the son of Larry and Amy Bailey, and he has one older sister and one younger sister. His father is a Cornell graduate.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
