Prior to Cornell

• Played four years as a pitcher and corner infielder at Tunstall HS, earning first-team All-Piedmont District and second-team All-Region honors as a senior captain.
• Named 2018 VHSL 3A Male Athlete of the Year.
• Participated in West Commonwealth All-Star Game in 2016 and 2017.
• Earned Atlantic Region honorable mention for 2018 Perfect Game All-Region teams and was placed on all-tournament teams for the WWBA 16U and 17U National Championships, and the 2017 16U Perfect Game World Series.
• Garnered high honorable mention in 2017 and honorable mention in 2016 for the Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American Teams.
• Tabbed fifth among right-handed pitchers in Virginia and Top 500 nationally among classmates by Perfect Game.
• Class valedictorian and finished in top 25 in Business Finance at DECA International Career Development Conference. 

Personal

• Tyler Reece Jarrett is the son of Robert and Connie Jarrett, and he has one sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
