Biography
As a freshman (2018-19)
• Swam the eighth-fastest 100 breast (55.09) and ninth-fastest 200 breast (2:02.34) races in school history at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational.
• Runner-up in the 100 breast (55.09) and the 200 breast (2:02.34) at the IC Bomber Invite
• Placed third in the 200 breast against Dartmouth/Harvard
• Finished fourth in the 100 breast versus Dartmouth/Harvard
• Swam in two meets before missing the second semester.
Prior to Cornell
• Schildwachter was a two-time NISCA All-American in the breaststroke while attending Corona del Mar HS.
• Swam for Aquazots Swim Club.
• He also twice earned All-America accolades in water polo.
Personal
• Ryan Albert Schildwachter is the son of Al and Judy Schildwachter and has an older sister.
• His sister, Krista '19, is enrolled at Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
