Fourteen Women's Hockey Players Named to ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team

ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell women's hockey had 14 players named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
Included in that list of 14 players was four graduating seniors: Chelsea Karpenko, Kendice Ogilvie, Catherine White and Amanda Young. Mazzotta and White were named to the league's All-Academic Team each of the last two years.
 
To make the cut, the student-athletes needed to hold at least a cumulative 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
 
Other players to earn the honor on Wednesday were Erin Barley-Maloney, Lauriane Rougeau and Xandra Hompe for the junior class, Hayleigh Cudmore, Jessica Campbell, Alyssa Gagliardi and Brianne Jenner for the sophomore class, and freshmen Monika Leck and Katelyn Pippy.
 
Cornell's 14 total players on the list was tied for fourth-best in the league with Clarkson and Quinnipiac. Yale and Union each had 16 players make the cut, while Dartmouth had 15.
