Introduction
Welcome to the compliance home page for current Cornell student-athletes. As a Cornell student-athlete there are several NCAA, Ivy League, and institutional rules and regulations that affect you. This section of the website is designed to keep you up-to-date, informed, and eligible to practice and compete.
We know that the rules governing intercollegiate athletic participation can be confusing and there is no way to cover them all in a website. The compliance office wants to work with you and welcomes you to bring forward any questions or concerns you may have.
Cornell Athletics utilizes a variety of
Teamworks software to enhance your student-athlete experience. It is recommended that all student-athletes download the Teamworks and Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting apps on their phones. Important information and reminders from the athletic department and your coaches will likely be sent to you via these platforms. Additionally, you can use these apps to view your team's schedule, travel itineraries or to submit forms to the Athletic Compliance Office.
In addition to this website which exists to inform you of basic compliance information, the
NCAA website is a gateway to educational information, press releases, NCAA championships information, scholarship and career opportunities and much more.
Please be proactive with your compliance and eligibility responsibilities and always feel free to contact the Compliance staff with any questions you have.
